Hospitality

welcome-1

I came as a guest, and you received me  (Matthew 25:35).

A major aspect of Holy Spirit Parish is Hospitality.  Holy Spirit strives to make each and every one feel welcome here.  When a person feels comfortable, he is more open to God’s presence.

At Holy Spirit we make every effort to provide that comfort for all who enter.

Greeters are present at each weekend Mass to meet and greet at the main doors.

Announcements are read at the beginning and end of each weekend Mass, sharing important and interesting events happening that week.

Father and the Deacons stay after Mass to meet and greet.

The Holy Spirit bulletin contains a lot information and is updated weekly.

This website provides information for each program offered in our parish.

We also host Coffee and Rolls on Sundays between the 8:30 and 11:00 Masses.

There is a Coffee and Conversation group that meets after daily 8:30am Mass on Wednesdays.

Each newly registered family receives a welcome booklet.

Holy Spirit updates our parish directory every 4-6 years.

We are all members of the Church of God and People of Christ.  All are welcome here!

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.   (Hebrews 13:2)

When you enter the church at Holy Spirit Parish, you immediately smell the wonderful aroma of fresh cinnamon rolls baking.

Each Sunday after Mass, Holy Spirit hosts a Coffee and Rolls hour.  Baker Bob rolls are available along with our fresh brewed, Equal Exchange coffee.  Many different groups and individuals take turns throughout the year acting as hosts for the day.

We welcome any and all who care to join us for a special treat and a hot cup of coffee.

Be hospitable to one another without complaint.     (1 Peter 4:9)

Holy Spirit Parish hosts a Fellowship Luncheon once a month on the first Tuesday of the month.  This luncheon is organized through our Christian Service office.  There are a few different individuals and businesses who prepare the meal.  This is a marvelous opportunity for food, friends and fellowship.  All are welcome to join!

For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in.    (Matthew 25;35)

All are welcome to this place!

After the 4:30 Saturday evening Mass, on the fourth Saturday of each month, Holy Spirit Parish hosts a Fellowship Dinner.  Organizations, groups, individuals take turns preparing the main meal.

Parishioners provide home-baked desserts.  The menu varies each month and never fails to satisfy!  Come and join us for this fun event.
