Elementary Formation
Holy Spirit Parish offers faith formation classes for Pre-K – 6th Grade on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Center. Any child from Holy Spirit Parish is invited. Registration forms are needed so we are sure to place your child in the correct age-appropriate group.
We would like to extend an invitation for each of you to prayerfully consider joining our ministry teams, whether as a catechist in the Elementary Formation program or an Adult Team member of our Youth Ministry Team. Aubrey or Cindy would love to visit with you if you are interested in learning more about these exciting ministries to the young church.
You will notice that again this year there is not a “fee” assigned to any of our programming on the registration forms. One of our goals in our Parish Pastoral Plan on stewardship is to eliminate fees for our programs and services. The Pastoral Council decided to begin this with our formation program. It is the Council’s hope and expectation that households will continue to support our programs and services through their regular parish financial stewardship. Instead of paying for services, parish members are being encouraged to shift to a stewardship mentality that reflects us all sharing from the same pot, so to speak. As your family prayerfully discerns your regular contribution to the parish, please take into account the many, many programs offered in our parish and have the satisfaction of knowing that your generosity is supporting each and all of these.
